From Halo 2 to Halo 3

Halo two was an awesome sequel to the original Halo done by Bungie. We have all heard of Halo and how great it is and frankly that and Guitar Hero are the things that I believe made the Microsoft X-box a real hit. Sure like all of you, I've found myself at my friends house for hours at a time playing with four or five of my friends, owning, eating pizza, and playing through the night. Well, awhile ago, Bungie decided to come out with a useless expansion to the Halo 2 game. This puzzled me more then anything that if Bungie would spend so much money on building such a great game..why make the next series game be so much worse then the first? I mean, don't get me wrong..Halo is a great game but aren't games supposed to get better then the one before it?

Well Halo is apparently an exception to this 'theory'. Just like Unreal Tournament which really only tweaked the Campaign, skins, and weapons..which hasn't really changed too much since UT1, Halo did just about the same thing. We are now able to have different skins and some more maps and a more then ridiculous weapon tweaks. The guns from Halo 2 that were terrible went to being some of the best on Halo 3 and the best on Halo 2 went to being downgraded and sucking. I'm not sure if it is just me..but is anyone else kind of pissed off at this new Halo? I for one refuse to buy it and play it now. It's just a waste of time and money to me. With Bungie spending millions on making the game. Then Microsoft spent around $10 million advertising the game. Then they made $170 million on opening day.

Come on, this spells out dedicated gamers and people who love Halo not people who want a little update for the game that they already have. Bungie made a bad game, bad moves, and should have spent a little more time actually adding things that will advance the game rather then just tweak it. Halo 3 is a disgrace in my opinion and if Bungie doesn't go into trying to make a Halo 4 totally diverse then Bungie and Microsoft doesn't deserve the dedicated gamers that are out there expecting diverse ideas and great new concepts in their gaming.
