Half Life's Life Span

Half life has become one of the top competitors in the race of gaming as of lately. Valve has also just overhauled their engine to compete with the new CryEngine2, which has blown us all away with the graphics and physics. But Valve's overhaul has placed them in a very close second to the CryEngine2. They host a variety of games spanning from the HL series to DOD. I believe in the few years to come, they will be one of the top, if not the top, company in gaming. They are already jumping ahead on the online gaming with the Steam. If you don't know what steam is, it's pretty much a chat program in which you can download games for a price and play them through the program, Steam, preventing any torrenting.
Valve has it made with its many loyal HL followers, awesome stories, and amazing graphics. I remember playing the Half-Life episodes over and over just because it was the most fun I've ever had playing a game before. If they keep this up, they are on the fast train to the top of the ladder and the many other top companies will be left in the dust if they don't get off their CEO chairs and give up a fight because Valve is coming and they are coming fast.
